Here we are once again, an election, April 28, and not a single person worth voting for. At least we don't have to consider our local community leaders, jabbering like parakeets. We want to vote for a FEDERAL candidate who will deliver what his/her leader says he/she/it will do. Is that good enough for you? Are you a patriotic citizen who wants Canada to be important to the world. Or are you like most Canadians, just trying to survive our politicians' day to day ignorance of the world at large?
If you consider your local guy/girl and vote for that person, do you actually have a reason? Or is it because you always vote for those guys? We have two parties to vote for, Liberals and Conservatives. But let's start with the NDP, who may not even be a party by May, 2025. These are my opinions of course. Jagmeet Singh has been telling us what he will do for us. The Canada he will give us. This that and the other thing all the while people are willing to stand on the stage with him as bobble-heads pretending he has a snowballs chance in hell of forming anything but a play-do character. Why is that? Because we also know he backed the Liberals and helped them hold on to power long enough to get the time in Parliament necessary to increase his pension when he leaves for good. All the while hurting the rest of Canada. In effect he betrayed his own people and party for his own needs! What is funny is that those same bobble-heads are still there, nodding up and down for whatever idiotic belief is still in their heads. The only thing to be said for Singh is that he has a colourful head. Whatever comes our of his mouth is of no importance.
Vote for Conservatives, Pierre Polievre, now he is strong in his delivery. Maybe a good guy to talk with Trump, but we all see our politicians subservient to The Donald, and asking what they can do to make him happy? Like a miscreant boy in front of a stern Daddy. Rarely does anyone suggest that we already HAVE an FTA which was signed by the last US Trump Government who was crying because that one was 'unfair.' USA initiated that agreement! But that is their problem. We are getting promises left and right from our own, none of which is likely at all. If you pay attention, you may notice that the parties all concentrate on what THEY want the issues to be. They dictate so you don't ask anything embarrassing. Another mind trick from Obi-Wan Kenobi. Nothing at all about what YOU the voter might like to hear from them. Pierre's popularity has dropped since Justin left. Why? Just look at your media people, all were desperately waiting to blare the bugles for the wonderful new guy! They are as corrupt as the campaigners!
Vote for Liberals, well they've been here for years, now they have Carney. Oh my, he's been at the head of BANKs, surely that should be enough reason to vote for him? Surely NOT! Just remember how much money the banks make, like now a BILLION dollars each QUARTER! Vote for Carney so the banks can try for a record Trillion a year in profits! None of which is EVER shared with Canadian accounts holders, if you look under the rug you will find out that banks do nothing, produce nothing but profit for themselves, and use YOUR money for that largess! Art Carney would do just as well as Mark. But he is going to get the government to build thousands of houses for us all! Will he stock them with food, furniture and have a car in each driveway? Here's a realistic thought, nails cost 50 cents a handful now, (you KNOW what I am going to say next, don't you?) when government takes over, nails will cost 50 DOLLARS a handful. The little wartime house will be selling for 13 million! The Liberals had their chance, they blew it while Turdeau was dancing in black-face. Naive Carney may be good someday, but for now he is 'Biden reading teleprompters 2.0'. What he needed, was to take over the Liberal party and ignore the embedded crooks who said 'This is how we always do it," and say to them, "This is how you're going to do it now!" Fat chance of that. He's soft, that's why Trump likes him. And what some Americans think ALL Canadians are.
Another non-starter is The Bloc Québécois, a Quebec nationalist party that only runs
candidates in the French-speaking province, meaning its leader Yves-François Blanchet is
unlikely to become Canada's next prime minister. So why is this parasite there when he clearly hates Canadians? Why does Canada even give him a line on the ballot? Your vote for Richard the Troll would have more effect!
But here is another reason to NOT vote - YOUR media refuses to even ask a question of the party hacks. Remember the SNC Lavalin scandal which was heading to disrupt Trudeau's comfortable position as despot. He just called an election, hired Jagmeet, while SNC Lavalin changed its name and not a single Parliamentarian or media reporter dared go back and say to Liberals, "So Justin, shall we pick up where we left off, about Lavalin?" Nope, you the people were duped yet again. I am sure I heard a whisper, 'That was so easy.' We are being crushed by our bought insidious media.
Is there anyone at a candidate rally who can actually ask something of the people running? They ask for your vote but you don't ask them to tell you WHY? They don't hold a question period and if you shout one, they toss you for disrupting the approved 'message'. Here are some I would like, "What are your plans to develop Canada's North?" Canada has huge presence in the Arctic and yet no one cares? We have indigenous Canadians up there struggling to survive and they are ignored. Quit thinking that Russia is our enemy and try to see how we can co operate in the Arctic. Russians are not OUR enemies, they are America's enemies! THEY need enemies to function. What about that cross country pipeline? We produce all that oil in Alberta and they sell it low to USA, while Eastern Canada pays a premium to import it from overseas. Can any candidate address that one? Ask your guy if he will push a pipeline through Quebec to the East and tell those folks they are a PROVINCE of Canada, and not a separate country and to sit down and shut up! Ask a candidate how we will reverse the loss of arable land in Canada to make ourselves self sufficient? What has your local guy done to toss out foreign company's fish farms who destroy the natural fishery. Are we always going to feed lumber mills in USA while allowing them to buy up our own mills to close them down? Carbon tax? Didn't you even notice the gas tax went down for ONE DAY and then right back up? YOU were supposed to be getting that tax back, not gasoline companies. Knock knock, anybody in there? Polluters need to pay or shut down. Why aren't you Canadians freaking angry?
And now we're getting little rallies in your neighbourhood, ask yourself if your local personality would really have any chance at all of influencing his/her leader in Ottawa to adopt something important to YOUR province? He/she will say they talk to the leader all the time. Where? On the phone messenger tape? We already had a BC Fisheries minister, and we thought that was great because the Feds allowed the Newfoundland cod fishery to just disappear! What did BC get from our own Westerner? Norwegian fish farms killing off BC Sockeye!
The problem is that they have that ring in your nose and lead you wherever they go. Time to take the hit and get angry. To be strong in the future we need to be in the now and it could hurt. Voting party line never works and they know it. Independent candidates know they have only ONE term unless they scream bloody murder? Get after your lazy media and force them to report what goes on and start earning their pay, MAKE them tell us what the screamers are bitching about. You might even have empathy for them.
Canada has the respect, the intelligent people, the work ethic, the know how, the world-wide connections, the inventiveness, the equipment, the willingness and smarts to accomplish anything they want to. If not with America then there are thousands of potentials in the world. Canada just needs to want to bad enough to disrupt the whole process and blaze their own trail in the world. We have no leg irons on our ankles we just think we do.
Voting is futile unless we get off our asses and scare the hell out of the powers that be.
